Have a question before booking, need help choosing a session, or want to ask about gear? We’re always happy to help.
Do I need to book?
Booking ahead is recommended, especially on busy days or for groups, but walk-ins are welcome when space allows. If you’re unsure, our staff can help you choose the right option when you arrive.
No experience needed
Beginners are welcome. All instruction and equipment is included.
No Sunday surcharge
Same pricing every day, including Sundays. No seasonal price changes.
What about insects?
Busselton is a wetlands area, and mosquitoes are part of life here seasonally. We provide complimentary insect repellent stations on site.
What ages can participate?
Our courses are suitable for ages 6+.
The Hunting Grounds is designed for more confident shooters and is 12+.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes. A waiver is required before shooting and is valid for 12 months once signed. It only takes about a minute to complete, and we recommend doing it online before you arrive to save time.
How long does a visit take?
There’s no fixed time limit. Some people take their time between shots, others move quickly through the course. You’re welcome to shoot at your own pace and enjoy the experience.
What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes are recommended, as you’ll be walking on dirt and uneven ground. Avoid loose sleeves or clothing that could catch the bowstring. You’re outdoors, so dress for the weather.
Do you accept companion cards?
Yes, we welcome Companion Card holders. A support person is welcome to shoot at half price when accompanying a valid Companion Card holder.
Before you arrive
Everything you need to know before heading out, from booking and age limits to what to wear and how long to allow. These are the most common questions people ask before their first visit.
Equipment & safety
Safety comes first, and our staff are always nearby to help. All equipment, supervision, and clear shooting procedures are included in every visit.
How it works on the day
Our courses are designed to be simple, social, and easy to follow. Whether it’s your first time or your tenth, the flow stays relaxed and flexible.
Groups, kids & special visits

How does the course work?
You head to the first target, where each archer shoots their arrows (either 3 or 6).
The group then walks down together to score, collect arrows, and move on to the next target.
Is there a time limit?
There’s no rush on the courses. You can take your time between targets and shoot at a pace that suits your group.
Can we take breaks?
Yes. You’re welcome to pause, rest, or take breaks along the way.
Can we add on more shooting once we start?
Absolutely. You can add more targets or time on the day by paying the difference, subject to availability.
Can I bring my own bow?
Yes. Traditional bows and suitable recurves under 40lb are welcome. All personal equipment must be checked by staff before shooting to ensure it’s safe for the range.
Can I bring my compound bow?
No. We currently don’t allow compounds, but we are actively working with our insurance company so watch this space!
Is archery safe?
Yes. Archery is very safe when following range rules and staff instructions.
Is training provided?
Yes. All first-time archers receive basic tuition to get you shooting safely and confidently. Our staff are always nearby to help with technique, safety, and questions as you go.
If you’d like more personalised guidance or want to level up your shooting, memberships and coaching sessions are a great next step for ongoing tips, refinement, and skill development.
Are alcohol or drugs allowed?
No. Alcohol and illegal drugs are not permitted before or during shooting for safety reasons.
Do you cater for groups?
Yes, groups are very welcome. For groups of 6 or more, we recommend booking ahead so we can have staff and lanes ready when you arrive.
For larger groups, we offer structured group options and discounted pricing. Very large groups (around 30+ people) are typically split into two rotations, with one group shooting while the other is training or enjoying our other activities, then swapping over. This keeps things flowing smoothly and gives everyone plenty of time on the range.
For large groups, schools, or special events, take a look at our Group Pricing page or get in touch and we’ll help you plan the day.
Do under 18s need supervision?
Yes. Archers under 18 must be supervised by a participating adult.
Are birthday parties available?
Yes. Birthday parties are popular and can be tailored for different ages and group sizes. We recommend booking ahead for these sessions.
Can we book the venue privately?
Yes. We offer private bookings where the park is closed exclusively for your group. These can be arranged as either a half-day session (9am–12pm) or a full-day booking, depending on your needs.
Private bookings are custom quoted based on group size and requirements. If you’re planning something special, get in touch and we’ll talk it through.
Is alcohol allowed?
No. Alcohol and illegal drugs are not permitted anywhere on the premises, before or during shooting. This is strictly enforced for safety reasons.
