Yes, every archer has to sign a waiver - and anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign on their behalf (and that parent or guardian will have to stay with them on the course as well). It’s easy to do online before you arrive or at check-in on the day. Waivers cover you for a whole year, so if you’re a regular, you only need to fill it out once.

Compounds are no-go here. They’re powerful - too powerful for our close-range setup near public walkways and residences. They need a purpose-built range with space to handle their punch.

Traditional bows under 40lbs, like recurves or longbows, are fine. Just make sure to bring your arrows suited to your bow, and you’re set for our 25% discount.

We provide you with everything you need to get shooting - bow, arrows, and a safety briefing to get you comfortable with the gear. Bringing your own equipment? Great! You’ll get a discount for using it.

Just don’t be tempted to “borrow” a bow if you haven’t paid - it’s a no-go, any sneaky shots will see your whole group handing in their gear, no refunds.

On average, a group of four taking three shots each usually takes around 45 minutes to an hour and a half. If you’re keen for extra rounds or larger groups, plan for a bit longer. Some people shoot much quicker than others and archery is a sport that is about patience.

Take your time - it’s a self-paced experience, so enjoy every shot.

Yes, if you’ve got under-18s on the range, a responsible adult needs to stick around the entire time. We recommend one adult for every four kids.

Archery’s a blast, but safety’s the top priority!

Unfortunately, it’s a firm no on alcohol. Even a lunchtime drink means no entry. We’re serious about keeping things safe and sharp out here - so skip the drinks until after you’ve hung up the bow for the day.

BYO snacks or pack a full picnic - we’ve got plenty of spots to settle in. Our kiosk stocks cold drinks and snacks if you’re after a quick bite. If a BBQ’s more your style, bring one along, fire it up, and make a day of it.

Dress for the range: closed shoes, comfortable gear, and nothing that can snag (think scarves or long necklaces). And if you’re hunting down stray arrows in the grass, covered shoes will be your best friend. Toss on a hat and sunscreen if it’s sunny - it’s all part of the experience.
